Collaboration with the UNE International Students Sub Committee on documenting the 2011 Armidale Dumaresq Council Civic Reception for International Students.
This partnership with ISSC is part of a larger plan to lift the profile/visiblity of International student life at UNE and to encourage participation in community life.
The Civic Reception was also supported by the International Student Office and the local Harmony Group.
SVM & a local production company, Fantasmagoria Films, will each produce a short web video.
Currently in post production on these… see sampler, below.
The ISSC will build on their media and communications strategy for this year from here.

Fiona is participating in the Women in Business Mentoring program run by the New England Northwest Business Enterprise Centre.

As her mentor, I will meet her only a few times over the life of the programme – but we’re using tthe Chibidoll Posterous blog as a vehicle for our ongoing collaboration – piloting the use of blogs as a comms tool for mentors & mentorees.

A benchmarking exercise, as the BEC is moving towards using online & digital media in delivering programmes like this through the new technologies and channels. We’ve also piloted video documentation of speakers at the various seminars & workshops being presented – Sarah Watson from SideProject Films filmed at the first gathering of mentors & mentorees in December, 2010.
