Community Media Making & participatory Democracy in action together.

Public Forum held in Armidale Town Hall June 8th in support renewable energy with special guest, Federal Member for New England, Tony Windsor.

Event organised by two young local people – Hadley & Jarra with support from Sustainable Living Armidale and the national 100% Renewables Campaign. A big turn out to listen to speakers and response to community support for renewable energy from our elected Federal Government representative. Windsor has been an advocate for supporting renewables and local initiatives.

Prashanth & Sewa from ISSC documented the night on video. Their first video documentation project – part of the campaign to build media making skills through mentorship with SVM.

Prashanth’s footage made it to NBN regional news on Thursday night
