Day 2 of Festival of Delusion workshop with composer/musician Dave Eddy in the Guyra Central School Hall. Dave has composed a new suite of pieces for our second show, slated for November. We’ve spent these few days exploring a range of technologies for music production, projection, live camera feeds and visual effects. Exciting stuff and its looking great.

Posted: September 23, 2015 in UncategorizedArts Organisation Byeond Empathy and the University of New England host a regular Arts & Community Forum in Armidale, northern NSW, and SVM has been invited to speak alongside two peer/collaborators, oral historian and documentary maker, Dr Lorina Barker and poet and cultural activist Rob Waters. A huge privilege to be representing with two dynamic artist/storytellers.

Posted: September 10, 2015 in UncategorizedWork underway for the mixed and multi media project in collaboration with Child Sexual Abuse Survivor “Echo”. We spent 4 days working through his artworks- some 4000 digitally created and manipulated self portraits,experimenting with different formats of presentation. A great few days of hands-on brainstorming. We came away with a basic design for the event: part exhibition, part installation and part performance. Intense and hard work but hugely productive and inspiring.
