A joint project between the Social Workers In Schools initiative, which is piloting the placement of Social Work students from UNE in disadvantaged and rural and remote schools and the Higher Education Participation Program which targets year 7 and 8 students introducing them to the prospects of higher education. These kinds of intervention programs are proving successful in encouraging kids from lower SES backgrounds and from regional and remote communities to begin to consider higher education as a real possibility for their futures.

SVM collaborates again with Brendan Blacklock to document the 8 days of the project. On location for 5 days in Coonamble, western NSW and the 3 days in Armidale, visiting the University.
