Looking Through Windows next stages

Posted: April 27, 2017 in Uncategorized

Planning for the next stages of the Looking Through Windows Project is underway, following a recent visit to the site of the old Reserve at Ingleba, near Walcha, NSW.

Members of the Cohen, Dixon, Widders and Briggs families from Armidale spent Good Friday at the site where previous generations had lived on the banks of the beautiful MacDonald River, between Tamworth & Walcha

Dr Lorina Barker, facilitated the event as part of her oral history story gathering for the  multimedia exhibition to be presented at NERAM in November.

Ahead is a visit to Bourke with her team, including SVM, and in early June, language and art workshops in Armidale, featuring the renowned Indigenous languages scholar Professor Neyooxet Greymorning from the University of Montana.
